Two Westlake Girls High School teams won titles at the Auckland Secondary Schools Volleyball Champs. Our Senior A team won the top grade Division 1 Girls title with a hard fought win in 5 sets over Aorere College. Ari Pola (Year 13) was named the tournament’s overall girls Most Valuable Player. Sydney Clough (Year 13), Lyric Koria (Year 13), Zara Pocock and Ariane Pola were named in the tournament team. At the same tournament, the Westlake girls Senior b team won the Division 3 tournament title which will give them automatic promotion into Division 2 next year.
