Six medals at New Zealand Rowing Champs

At the New Zealand Secondary Schools Rowing Champs (Maadi Cup regatta) held in late March, Westlake crews won 6 medals, 4 Gold and 2 Bronze. Gold medals went to the Girls Under-15 coxed quadruple sculls (N. Bunyan, D. Thorpe, A. Hope, S. Leadley and C. Thomas), the Girls over-15 Lightweight coxed fours (G. Gray, H. Gray, S. Egnot-Johnson, M. Erdmann and J. Squire), the Girls Over-15 Lightweight double sculls (S. Egnot-Johnson and H. Gray) and the Girls Under-17 Double sculls (A. Fick and S. Egnot-Johnson). Bronze medals were won by the Girls Under-17 Single sculls (A. Fick) and the Girls Under-18 Novice double sculls (A. Barrell and A. Bruce).
