Four Medals won at North Island Rowing Champs

Westlake crews came away with two Gold medals and two Silver medals at the North Island Secondary Schools Rowing Championships held in early March. Andrea Fick (Year 13) won the Gold medal for 1^st place in the Under-18 Single Sculls, with fellow Westlake student Sophie Egnot-Johnson (Year 12) winning the Silver medal for 2^nd place in the same event. Andrea and Sophie then teamed up and won the Silver medal for 2^nd place in the Under-18 Double Sculls. Devon Thorpe and Sylvia Leadley (both Year 11) teamed up to win the Gold medal for 1^st place in the Under-16 Double Sculls.
