Student wins cycling medal

Georgia Wansink (Year 12) competed at the North Island Secondary Schools Cycling Championships which were held in Cambridge in early July. She did extremely well and won a Bronze medal in the Under-17 Road Race event. This is a particularly fine achievement considering Georgia has only been riding for just under a year and this was her first time at the North Island Championships. This race is over a distance of 45km and Georgia only finished a few seconds behind the first and second-place winners.
