If your daughter is Year 11-13 in 2019, you are warmly invited to our Subject Choice Information Evening on Wednesday 15 August in the Staff Room (upstairs in the Gernhoefer Admin Centre) and D Block.
This is an opportunity for students, parents/caregivers and whanau to speak with teachers about what a subject entails at NCEA Levels 1-3. This helps students make an informed decision about which subjects to take for NCEA – as well as possible post high school pathways.
The evening will involve a series of optional short talks about NCEA and future pathways. They will be held in the staff room, upstairs in the Gernhoefer Admin Centre:
5pm: Year 11 in 2019
5.30pm: Year 12 in 2019
6pm: Year 13 in 2019
Between 5-7pm, teachers from different departments will be in D Block to answer your questions. Careers Department staff will also be available in the staff room during this time.This is an informal evening and you don’t need to book.
Subject choices are due on Monday 20 August by 8.30am via Schoolpoint https://westlakegirls.schoolpoint.co.nz Comprehensive course counselling will be offered to students in Term 4.
