Emme Shearer and Jordyn Maddix (both Year 13) are two of the four players selected for the New Zealand Under-18 3×3 (3 on 3) Basketball team to compete at the FIBA U-18 3×3 Basketball Asia Cup to be held in Malaysia in late August. As well, Emme has been selected to attend the 11th Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Asia Camp taking place in Japan next month. The BWB event allows the top Under-17 basketballers from the Asia-Pacific region to train and play for a week under top basketball coaches from around the world.
