Congratulations to the Westlake Girls Premier Squash Team who defended their 2019 Auckland Secondary Schools Championship title today at North Shore Squash Club. They came from behind to beat Takapuna Grammar School 3 – 2 in scintillating form.
Captain, Lucy Cadness-Aspinall sealed the title for Westlake with her stellar comeback in the final game. Congratulations to Lucy, Myriam Lotfy, Aishah Lotfy, Anna Jowsey and Tayla Harre on a tenacious performance.
Well done to WGHS Senior A who came third in Division 2 behind MacLeans and Western Springs Colleges.
