Our combined Westlake Girls & Westlake Boys team won the National Ki-O-Rahi Championships during the holidays in Rotorua! Awesome result winning 8 of 8 games. They defeated Turanga Wahine/Turanga Tane 14-7 in the final. Congratulations to the team and coach Kath Beckett.

Our sailing team won the NZ Secondary School Team Sailing Championship at Algies Bay on Friday 21st April. It was our first win at this event since 2012 – a fantastic effort! Congratulations to the team: Daniella Wooldridge (Captain), Jess Handley, Bella Jenkins, Zara Latimer, Emma Reid, Danielle Robertson, Gretel Satterthwaite and Emily Turner.

Open Evening for students wanting to enrol at Westlake Girls for 2025
We will hold an Open Evening for those considering enrolling at Westlake Girls in 2025 on Tuesday, 23 July. There will be a brief talk at 4 pm and repeated at 6 pm in our Event Centre. These talks will then be followed by guided tours of the school. All are welcome. No need to book; just come along.
