Multiple Awards from the KBB Music Festival

Westlake music groups performed strongly at the annual KBB Secondary Schools Band and Orchestra Festival held in mid-August. The Westlake Big Band won a silver medal. The Westlake Symphony Orchestra won a gold medal and the award for the Best Performance of a Romantic Work. The Westlake Chamber Orchestra won a gold medal and the award for the Best Performance of a New Zealand work. The Westlake Concert Band won a gold medal and the award for the Best Performance of an Arrangement.
