Three students win New Zealand Athletics Championship Medals

Three Westlake Girls High School students won medals at the New Zealand Athletics Championships in  late March. This is a non-school event open to any athletes in New Zealand belonging to an Athletics Club. Isabella Brown (Year 11) won a Bronze medal in the Under-20 Women’s Pole Vault, Sofia Lome (Year 11) won a Bronze medal in the Under 20 Women’s Long Jump, and Anna Steven (Year 13) won a Bronze medal in the Women’s Para 100m and a Gold medal in the Women’s Para Long Jump.
